The Circle of Life

sunset...

Dearly beloved people,

How are we all doing? The sun is setting on 2014, I can hardly believe we are a few hours away from a curtain call for 2014.

“We are open books and part of conquering is that we leave nothing in the shadows… People who like to hurt other people will find tools, but then we must never live in the burden of secrecy. We are the ones who live free. We are the circumcision who worship Christ, rejoice in the Spirit and lose confidence in the flesh. Our lives remain an epistle to be read by all men…”- Moses Ida-Michaels

The above quote is the confidence we have to be open with our successes and failures especially when we realise that the Bible itself is balanced. Our lives (ups and downs) are all a part of God’s plans and the vulnerability to share is sometimes the courage another needs to face their challenge.
I am humbled and grateful for an opportunity to share my 2014 review. My friend Efe challenged me to put it down in black and white and I am so grateful I did. It provided just a balanced view of the year and left me most grateful for the path God permitted me to take. Please check it out here- Eloho’s 2014 Review
Feel free to check out several other reviews of 2014 on Stories.ng . It has been so refreshing to read others share about their year with such honesty and openness. I have cried with some, jumped up in joy at some and just connected in very rare ways with others. Reminds us that we are not alone, and that nothing that happens to us is solely about us.  We all belong together in the ‘Circle of Life.’ Very encouraging way to end the year if you ask me.
“All these things happened to them as examples—as object lessons to us—to warn us against doing the same things; they were written down so that we could read about them and learn from them in these last days as the world nears its end.” 1 Cor. 10:11 (The Living Bible)
I read this verse as encouragement to share our mistakes as well…as is in the Bible, it serves to teach others not to do same.
But in the same way, we are to share our highs. Clarke’s commentary on Romans 12:5 says, Rejoice with them that do rejoice – Take a lively interest in the prosperity of others. Let it be a matter of rejoicing to you when you hear of the health, prosperity, or happiness of others..
So, thank you for being a part of this family all through 2014.
I appreciate you all and I wish you an amazing 2015 year filled with God’s glory.  May it be for you, a year to flourish.
In Him,
@eloxie

      Thank you Uncle Efe. Indeed we are and our ‘epistleship’ is not selective, it is wholesome (All things- ups and downs inclusive should speak about Christ). God bless you.
